Asli Polat has envisioned her collection for the Autumn Winter 2016 season with a distinctively futuristic wave of Victorian romanticism, hailing from the playful elegance of 1970’s glam rock music icons.

The brand's now signature sophisticated yet youthful styles are seen throughout the collection – which itself swings between relaxed masculine undertones and the ultrafeminine - much like the women who inspired it.

Minimalist silhouettes reminiscent of the 70’s aesthetic are modernised throughout, with barely there mini sequin dresses, prim lightweight overcoats and flattering frill collar high neck shirts complimented by oversized silk taffeta bows.

Separates include glam rock bodysuits reworked to include the brilliance of nude knit lurex alongside softly draped pants and dresses in sumptuous velvet – incorporating the aching cool nonchalance of downtown Grunge.

Signature styles return for AW16 including; black silk georgette collar shirt and cotton tops and dresses - re-envisioned with playfully flirtatious details including exaggerated frills and intricate embellishment.

A collection of musical rebellion, Asli Polat's modern woman is as glamorous as she is indefinably strong.
